My students are creative, thoughtful and inquisitive! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Many of my students love the hands on opportunities that they get in my classroom and love the creative challenge of developing their own successful lab.
They love to problem solve their own way and share what they've learned with others. They do not shy away from a challenge and often use their own failures to become more successful. I love to find new ways to engage them! They truly understand the importance of being scientifically literate.
My Project
My students need a space to do science! The classroom currently has desks with a sloped top that make it difficult for students to make accurate measurements or work collaboratively on a project. These chemical proof lab tables will help them by providing a level surface and the space they need to, as we say in my classroom, SCIENCE!
By donating to our project you will not only help student engagement in science but also increase their ability to be scientifically literate.
They need the equipment to be better prepared for real world science. Students will be able to focus on the accuracy and precision of their lab skills rather than trying to explain away errors that are caused by not having the equipment they need in the classroom.
