Lab Notebooks for Science

My Project

My students come in daily, hungry for knowledge. Since we have moved online, I am finding that many students struggle with going back and forth between tabs when working on lab and recording the information. They will also be able to have it handy when doing a hands-on lab and not have to figure out a way to balance a laptop into the experiment. By having the paper on hand to create these notebooks, it will guarantee we won't have to wait to get started.

These workbooks will be used and referenced all year!

We have gone through and have compiled all our lab activities into one handy book. These lab books will be for students to access at any point throughout the class period or the school year.

By having access to these resources, students will have an opportunity to be more successful, by being able to reference these materials as needed, to help with completion of work or participation in class discussions. I have surveyed several students from this year to see what they think about this idea, and they loved it! Especially since they love the notebooks. Since they have been through our classes and know all there is to know about how we operate, if they are telling me these would be helpful, then I must try to make this idea a reality!
