This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am blessed with having all three science degrees (biology, chemistry, physics); and I am teaching in a school with has 120 years of serving the community. This year is the last year that they are going to use the building and they are moving us to another school temporarily till they build a new building for us.

Due to the large bill to the constructor to build the new building, we get nothing or around zero aid for our labs and classrooms and it has been going on for a couple of years now.

unfortunately, we are in desperate need of basic lab and classroom materials and we could not even do the labs anymore.

Although building a new building is mandatory, and this building does not meet the minimum requirement of a school building, doing labs and managing classes are needed and our students deserve to have these labs and learn.

To have fair settings for my students I put up the minimum necessary needed materials in this project. I hope with your consideration and generosity you help me and my students to do the lab and learn!
