My Project
This computer will be used to install win32 based applications in order to manage the virtual lab environments and afford students the opportunity to understand what datacenter management (on a small scale) looks like. Virtualization usually requires some out of band management to control the bare metal, and with a small-scale lab, this will allow us to install necessary software in a controlled environment so the students can see and feel what it is like to use high-quality industrial tools. (e.g. VMWare, APC/Schneider Electric / Powershell as it relates to private and public clouds)
