This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I walked into my new home and looked around and saw nothing but a few desks. I said where are the microscopes. We have very minimal supplies was the response I was given. The students need to have hands-on experience with lab equipment in order to properly cement their feet into a career in the sciences.

If we can give students the proper access to the basics then we can help change the trajectory of the paths.

There is only one way to go....UP!

These items will be used to help give my students the necessary supplies to learn the basics of biology in an area where science is not a priority.
