This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are fantastic. They are excellent learners, but need to keep up their reading in Spanish to keep up their biliteracy skills. A better selection in Spanish means more reading.

I will use them to form reading groups and help students see that they can read and understand the books so that they will go on to read more books in the same series or by the same author.

They will also help students achieve their reading goals for their contracts in school.
