it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, curious, and full of imagination. They show up ready to learn, create, and grow. Art gives them a way to express themselves and find joy during the school day. I teach a creative group of fourth graders, and I believe every child deserves the tools to make their ideas come to life.
Art is more than just fun—it’s a critical tool for emotional growth, problem-solving, and creative expression.
With your help, I’d like to provide my students with essential art materials: tempera paints, paint brushes, sharpies, modeling clay, construction paper, and acrylic markers. These tools will allow us to explore different styles and media, build fine motor skills, and even connect art to subjects like science, history, and math.
Art helps many of my students feel safe and confident. It’s a powerful outlet that improves mental health and promotes teamwork and patience. Your support will bring vibrant, hands-on experiences into our classroom and help students shine.
