Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Decodable books provide students an opportunity to put the phonics skills we are learning in class to use. Flyleaf books allow students to use and develop correct print-to-sound pathways. Students can learn to decode words aligned with our phonics lessons.
Authentic, decodable books provide successful and motivating first-reading experiences for students who are not yet fluent readers.
Flyleaf books are full of beautiful illustrations and meaningful, engaging stories. The scope and sequence are expertly developed and research-based. My hope is that through these books, my students will become accurate, fluent, comprehensive, and joyful readers. This is 1 of 3 projects that I have posted. All 3 projects create a complete set.
