I teach an energetic and enthusiastic group of scholars. My scholars love exploring and learning new things. I was so amazed when they arrived on the first day and even though some did not know each other they were still engaging each other in the first day activities. I've noticed how my scholars light up when they do a hands-on group project which allows them to feel as though they are leading the assignment.
My Pre K thru Kindergarten, Girl Scouts and Aftercare classes are SHINING STARS.
They continue to amaze me each and every day. I do not want that drive in them to ever die. I want it to continue well after they leave my class at the end of the school year.
My rockets are shooting past the moon and as their teacher, I am going to make sure they get there.
My Project
Having iPads in the classroom has the potential to significantly enhance our scholars' learning. Technology motivates them to do their best, gives them the confidence that they are big achievers. It also will guide them to becoming independent learners.
Technology will heighten my scholars' skills onto all grade levels.
iPads are very powerful instruments to the fact that they will be used everyday along side our curriculum. I've noticed how my scholars brighten up at the lights and cartoon characters as they move across the screen. The iPads will help them tune into independent work as small groups are happening through out the classroom. It will allow them to work on the different programs that the school has for each and every scholar.
Technology is the gate way to that of the new generations, and which they are counting on to further their education and with these new added iPads my MOY (middle of the year) scores are definitely going to rise to the top. By the EOY (end of the year) the sky is the LIMIT.
