Help me give my students 3 TPT gift cards so that my students will enjoy learning math and language arts skills through Knockout.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Webster's classroom raised $423

My Project
My students will benefit from these TPT gift cards by playing Math Knockout and Language Arts Knockout games. I plan on purchasing the Second Grade Math Knockout bundle and Language Arts bundle from Teachers Pay Teachers.
The Language Arts Knockout bundle (using these TPT gift cards) will benefit my students because it reinforces skills that my students are learning each day.
For example, one language arts Knockout game is controlled R vowel sounds (or, er, ur, ir, ar.) After I teach these sounds, Knockout will reinforce and help my students decode controlled R vowel sounds. Language Arts Knockout will also benefit my students because it includes all the sight words. These Knockouts will help my students easily memorize these words.
The Second Grade Math Knockout bundle (purchased using these TPT gift cards) will benefit my students by reinforcing math skills. One skill is telling time to the five-minute interval. This concept is hard for my students. Knockout will help my students understand this skill and have fun too!
Not only is this grade for learning about and reinforcing 2nd grade math and reading skills, but it builds character as it teaches my students about teamwork and good sportsmanship.
The following are the rules that will teach my students about teamwork and sportsmanship. I included these to give you an idea of what Knockout is.
A quick look at Knockout and how it is played divide your class into 2 single-file lines, display the first slide, and the player at the front of his/her line faces off against the player from the other team. The first player to answer his/her question correctly wins and returns to the end of the line. The player who does not win goes to sit on the team "bench" to cheer on the team!
