I teach Adapted Physical Education. Many of the students have multiple physical capabilities. Many of them have limited movement. Some of them are in wheelchairs or walkers. Despite their physical challenges, this does not deter them from enjoying the activities in my class.
My Project
I am an adaptive physical education teacher. My students may have limited mobility and movement. Sometimes, they are not able to play with regular equipment. Bowling is an exciting activity that my students participate in. While students without disabilities can join the fun, the students with limited movement and are in wheelchairs can only play with the help of the paraprofessionals. Having this equipment will allow all my students to play the game independently. So no matter what limited movement they will be able to participate and enjoy the game of bowling.
