Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school has a 30 minute, teacher-supervised activity called Knighttime. I have been doing indoor games with students who chose my Knighttime. I need more educational board games for them to have fun while learning at the same time develop their social skills as they will be playing with other students from other classes and levels. I also need healthy snacks that will serve as weekly prizes for those who are cooperative, on time, and well-behaved.
Having new board games and prizes will motivate these students to be engaged and to be team players as they collaborate, play, discuss, strategize, and think with others.
These board games will make learning fun. A great balance in their hectic academic schedule throughout the day.
