Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is the start of another school year. The cost of school supplies has increased dramatically in only one year. The items I purchased with our school money last year will not purchase the same items this year. I am hoping to get some of those basic supplies and a few extra markers and Kleenex for this year. I have learned over the past year that some items get used a lot more in second grade. I am hoping to have enough of these items to meet the needs of my children this year.
Basic school supplies, like black markers and Sharpies, will help my student with writing and they will be able to stay healthy with Kleenex and paper towels.
Post-it notes, Sharpies, Flair pens, and black Crayola markers will help us with our writing skills. Kleenex tissue and paper towels are in constant use with our runny noses, dirty hands, and art projects. We love to get messy, make mistakes, and learn as we experiment with new substances. Having materials that are readily available to us will go a long way to help my students with learning and staying healthy.
