Help me give my students the gift of kitchen supplies to run our school cafe.

My Project
I am a special education teacher at Boston Green Academy (BGA). I work with a great group of young people in what we call our Learning For Independence Program, or LFI for short. LFI is a very special and specific program that serves to meet the needs of students with a variety of Intellectual Disabilities such as Autism and other learning disabilities.
The primary focus of the LFI program is to help students develop the academic, social, and life skills necessary to live a full and independent life.
One of the many way we practice life skills is operating the BGA Cafe. Every week we choose a meal that we prepare and serve to the school staff. This is a major undertaking every week. We have to choose the meal, make the grocery list, go shopping, figure out how much to purchase, navigate the social interactions and transactions at the grocery store, make the meal, serve the meal, and clean up. Exhausting just typing it out, but it is truly a rewarding and really enriching weekly learning experience.
The problem is we lack the proper kitchen equipment and tools to the do the job correctly. We need the dish cloths and sponges to clean our dishes and kitchen. And the cutlery we need to serve our meals. Please consider donating to this project so we can make the BGA Cafe the best it can be. This project will help ensure that our students have all they tools and equipment to do the job right. Thank you so much for your generosity.
