My students are a group of enthusiastic, self motivated kids who enjoy learning, especially in a classroom environment where they are able to engage in hands-on experiences. They especially enjoy cooking and experimenting with a variety of cooking equipment and recipes. They are always willing to be creative and go the extra mile.
These students are always engaged, and actively participate in classroom discussions and activities because they truly want to learn!
They have an enthusiasm that inspires me to continually strive to be a better teacher.
My Project
The equipment that I am requesting will help to provide real life cooking experiences for my students. The air fryer will be used to compare and contrast different cooking methods providing students with the ability to make informed decisions regarding nutrition, cost, and taste. The ice cream maker will provide students with the opportunity to be creative in a way that most have never experienced. Students will be able to see how a few ingredients can come together to make a favorite treat. They'll be able to see how by making foods from scratch, they can control what and how much goes in to their product.
