Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students show a desire to success. They are driven to achieve academic and athletic success. We have a group of diverse students, who represents all areas of our community. Our students show the "aloha spirit" daily. They consistently show up with smiles and a willingness to get better. They are very "coachable" and work hard.

Our students are a great bunch of kids who want to get better on and off of the athletic field of play.

They no longer accept "can't" as an option. They learn to expect greatness, accept their best effort and learn continuously.

My Project

These items are essential for providing the best experience during the Track and Field season.

Currently, we lack these supplies making effective coaching difficult.

We have to use personal funds to provide equipment for students each week. Most of our students do not come from affluent households, so these supplies will be greatly appreciated!

These items will offer effective training development for our athletes. Sometimes, due to a lack of financial support, students show up without some equipment, but with a willing attitude. We dig into our own pockets to provide the equipment needed for these student-athletes to compete. Mahalo!
