Help me give my students Hygloss Products Kaleidoscope Kits to learn about physics!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Hurst's classroom raised $354

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love engaging in hands-on science! Many of them speak different languages and they learn the best through kinesthetic activities. Recently, we have been learning about how light moves, bends, bounces, and breaks.
I have been looking for something concrete for students to use to help them understand the role light plays in physics and I found some awesome kaleidoscope kits that fit the bill perfectly!
We will use these kaleidoscope kits to learn that light can move in many ways. My students will be able to see first hand that light can be reflected by a mirror, refracted by a lens, dispersed into a rainbow, and absorbed by the object.
Will you help me give my students these resources needed to fully engage them in science learning?
