This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of my student's do not even know what a Kinect is, however, the do know all about video gaming. Students working out to video games will be a great way to motivate many students.
My students come from low income family's and need more attention to their physical activity in school.
Most of my students are overweight. They are well behaved, awesome kids and love my Physical Education class. I wold love to give them yet another activity to look forward to.
My Project
Physical Education is class is changing. Many suburban schools already have technology in their P.E. classes that are helping students get and stay active.
My students will be so excited to see Kinect in the Physical Education Program. Personally, I have been using Kinect in my home and lost 20 pounds and look forward to using it everyday. There is no doubt that my kids will love this system. I also have many Kinect games that I will donate to this project!
I have many students that enjoy Physical Education everyday, however, I do have some students that need that extra push to perform physical activity.
These Kinect systems will light up these kids lives in so many ways. The opportunities are endless!
