My Project

We are excited to launch our “Snack Exchange Initiative,” a collaborative project between our kindergarten class and another kindergarten class at our school. This initiative aims to foster a spirit of sharing and kindness among our students while promoting healthy eating habits.

In the Snack Exchange Initiative, our kindergarteners will actively participate in sharing snacks with their peers in the other class.

Each month, we will host a “Snack Share Day,” where students will bring in healthy snacks to share with one another. This not only encourages them to try new foods but also teaches important lessons about generosity and community.

Students will take the lead in promoting these events. They will create colorful posters to invite their classmates, discuss which snacks they would like to share, and help set up the sharing area. This hands-on experience will provide them with valuable skills in teamwork, communication, and empathy, all while building friendships across classes.

This initiative will benefit all kindergarten students at our school, fostering a sense of community and connection among diverse learners. Additionally, we aim to reach families in our surrounding neighborhood, where many families may appreciate encouragement and support in fostering positive social interactions. By promoting kindness through snack sharing, we hope to create an inclusive and nurturing environment for everyone.
