My Project

The Service Stars Kindness project is a vibrant initiative that empowers our young students to spread the joyful message that kindness truly matters! This exciting endeavor focuses on beautifying the urban neighborhood surrounding our school, creating a magnificent rock garden that symbolizes kindness and connection. The project aims to benefit our local community, including our school, families, and residents in the neighborhood, inspiring a sense of belonging and positivity.

Through this project, our K-1 students will engage in small acts of kindness that can make a big difference.

With funding, they will receive painting supplies and smooth rocks to transform into colorful canvases for their heartfelt messages. Inspired by the delightful story "Kindness Rocks," this hands-on experience fosters creativity while teaching the importance of positivity.

Imagine a world where every child shares a message of kindness! This initiative encourages students to express themselves artistically while relating their actions to the wider community. As they paint and decorate their rocks, they’ll learn that even the smallest gestures can have a profound impact. Each rock will remind them of the kind actions they’ve taken and how they can continue to spread kindness.

To lead this initiative, students will organize group painting sessions, mentor one another in sharing ideas about kindness, and campaign for goodwill through their artwork displayed in the rock garden. By actively participating in these roles, our students will serve others, fostering a culture of kindness that extends beyond the classroom and into the hearts of their neighbors. Together, we can cultivate an environment where kindness flourishes and everyone feels valued!
