My Project
I love how kind, curious, and compassionate my students are, and I want to give all students a way to spread kindness around the whole school. As an elementary school counselor, I see their excitement when they help others and how proud they feel when kindness is recognized. However, they don't always have the opportunity to do it.
The Kindness Photo Challenge creates an opportunity for a school wide community service project of spreading kindness and joy by celebrating those everyday moments by encouraging students to capture acts of kindness throughout the school.
The photo printer paper will allow us to print and display their pictures in the cafeteria, creating a powerful visual reminder of the kindness happening around them for the whole school to see. The classroom charts will help track participation, making sure every student at CES has a chance to be involved. These resources will promote empathy, inclusion, and a culture of kindness school wide.
