This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have started a club called Kindness in Plants. Their goal is to help clean up community spaces. They are starting with some special areas at our school. One is the Peace Garden which needs a little love and has many bushes that would look a little better trimmed. The electric hedge trimmer and extension cord would help us get that done.

I am proud of all their energy and ideas for making our school and community a better place.

Since garden and park cleanups are hard work I also asked for snacks and water. They are very artistic and want to get some presentation materials.
