My Project

Help my students learn about gardening. Our students thrive through hands-on projects and real world learning that can bring language and concepts to life. They will learn about germination, planting and harvesting as well as food insecurity in our community. Inspired by our beloved late friend, teacher and colleague, Clara Jones, we are starting a Kindness garden at our school. Mrs. Jones was an exemplary teacher whose grace and kindness has impacted all who knew her. These materials will help our students work and learn in our garden. Students will learn about horticulture, connect with the natural world and engage in civic engagement.
