Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My little learners are working hard every day and enjoy school. Our classroom family is awesome! This school year has been a roller coaster with lots of ups and downs. My students have been in quarantine four separate times this year, but we’re still learning and smiling every chance we get. In fact, we are focused on mindfulness and kindness. Thus, the kindness jar, is an excellent tool to teach students to be kind, responsible, respectful, and mindful. This project will provide a wonderful writing journal to allow students to check-in and share their emotions and feelings. Rewards and positive affirmations are greatly appreciated and needed.

I have to reach my students to teach them.

My classroom family will need healthy snacks, apple juice, gummies, crackers, sports drinks, Kind bars, and antioxidants trail mix. Every afternoon every child can earn a snack by working cooperatively, and kindly during the morning routines. Your generosity is appreciated. Thank you for your kindness.
