This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of my students are English Language Learners, speaking primarily Spanish or Marshallese. My students come to me with a wide range of abilities, cultures and life experiences. Ninety percent of our students are classified below the poverty level.
These students come to school ready to learn in every way and I would love to give them all the resources necessary to succeed!
Integrating hands-on learning into the classroom is a top priority for our classroom! Hands-on learning will help students develop their fine motor skills as well as increase enjoyment in school. The students in my classroom are beyond eager to learn and excel! We would greatly appreciate your donation!
My Project
Our goal is to spread love and kindness throughout our elementary building with random acts of kindness, kindness quotes, and kind gestures. We want to put smiles on the faces of all of our friends!
We want to bombard our students with love, kindness, acceptance, and friendship.
We are going to use the paint and rocks to place kindness rocks around the hallways, the playground, and classrooms. We are also going to seek out anyone who we notice needs a friend, an encouraging word, or even just a smile and give them an encouraging card and welcome them to our group. Our goal is to make everybody feel like somebody!
