This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We call our classroom The Kindness Kingdom and start our day with a kindness pledge! The emotional health of my first graders is critical. We cannot learn if our emotions are not regulated.

In our classroom, we follow the Platinum Rule...Treat people better than you want to be treated!

Kindness is a key skill to guide our lives. These Diane Alber "Little Spot" resources (books, games, and kits) will support my first graders as we transition into 2nd grade soon.
