This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students exchange school money for a candy bars and skittles to celebrate kind words, kind gestures, and acts of kindness. One of our school-wide books we use to promote kindness is "How Full Is Your Bucket" and all classrooms have read this book. Helping students see how it is important to fill others buckets and to keep our own bucket full is something we work on all year long. Help us give our students chocolate bars, skittles, and yummy candy as we help fill their bucks and fill others buckets with words of kindness.
We are a PBIS school and work hard to implement positive rewards at school.
These chocolate bars, skittles, and yummy candy will be a small part of our PBIS implementation plan. Students get "caught" being kind to each other and receive our school monetary money; then students get to purchase candy with their school money.
