What makes my students special is that they all have a PASSION for learning! Students at this age are like sponges, they absorb every bit of what we teach and put it into action.
My students love learning with hands on activities.
They embellish on exploring and learning using various manipulative’s and innovative ideas. I love seeing their enthusiasm come alive when they are able to be involved and take charge of their learning! Giving them more options for STEM activities will help them grow a love for school even more.
My Project
I want to build our class with more fun and engaging STEM projects. I plan to use the STEM resources in our math stations each week. These resources will be so nice to have to help build the excitement with our math lessons. These resources will also be nice to have for those early finishers. They can pick up an activity and see what they can create on their own.
I want to encourage my little learners to think in a more connected and holistic way.
Children today need the experiences of learning new ideas in more than one way. Having these hands on products will be more engaging than worksheets. Early education should dig into children’s natural curiosity and give them lots of opportunities to be active participants in their own learning. Building these STEM skills will create a foundation for our future learners.
