Kinders Love To Play!

My Students

My classroom is centered around differentiated learning to help meet all of my students' individual needs. Each child participates in hands-on learning to become a creative thinker. I promote a growth mindset to allow my students to gain confidence in themselves and develop more independence. I encourage involvement from my parents, administrators, and community in our environment.

I believe that students learn and lead by example and that it takes our whole village to help our children to grow into their full potential.

All students are learners, and they each have their unique needs that need to be met. Children learn the best when they are interested and engaged in the classroom. My students are a big part of all of our futures. They are the best investment that you can be a part of in this very moment. Thank you for investing and believing in us!

My Project

In kindergarten, we learn literacy, math, science, social studies, and much more! Learning social skills is vital to our development. The dramatic play area is a favorite with both boys and girls. All kinders love dramatic play time!

A new dramatic play kitchen area would make a great addition to our classroom!

Our current table only fits two students. Tot Tutors Primary Collection Kids Wood Table & 4 Chair Set in primary colors would help engage more students. It seats up to four students at a time.

The Melissa and Doug grocery store doubles as a lemonade stand. They will absolutely love playing store with this item. This incorporate socials skills into their learning but it will also help with coin recognition. Learning about money is a essential skill for all people.

Young children thrive on pretend play, they love to dress up and act out real life situations in the play center. The opportunities for developing creativity, imagination, and oral language skills in the play center are endless!
