Kinders Explore and Create

Help me give my students flexible seating and hands on materials to use. We work in a small tutoring space, use lap desks, but have no where supportive to sit. All would benefit from Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats.

My Students

Many of my students enter our school for the first time in kindergarten. They come from smaller outside daycare and preschool programs. Entering into a large school can be intimidating and scary for some kids. There are so many new things to learn and try out.

My students are inquisitive, curious, and playful learners!

They spend an equal amount of time learning how to regulate their bodies to be able to learn. Being able to name emotions and know strategies to regulate your own body is quite the learning process.

My Project

Working with students that struggle in the classroom can be challenging. I need engaging hands on, fun materials to present to them to help keep their attention. The sensory bins with letters, shapes, and numbers hidden can be used all year long to support early literacy skills.

These materials will help to support learning, social emotional skills, and assist with proper body placement!

While we are using these materials my students need seats that will support their bodies! They are still young and building their core strength. Many receive occupational therapy and need assistance to make sure they are sitting properly because sitting on just the floor while manipulating materials can be a struggle. Help me help them! The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats would allow my students to have the structural support they need while sitting on the floor.
