My Students
My students are African American, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian..the wonderful melting pot of my Kindergarten class. My students are energetic, funny, inquisitive, and strong. They are so excited!
Our school includes low-income students, with 100% of them receiving free lunch.
They come from homes with wonderful parental involvement, but minimal resources.
My students are very eager to learn new things. I want to be able to afford them different opportunities to learn many new things by using different materials and different avenues.
My Project
The books and furniture in our classroom library have been in here for a while now. I would like to give my students a new classroom library equipped with new books and furniture to increase their learning and imagination. I’ve also requested gift cards from TPT in hopes to purchase activities to go along with some of the books in our library to further my students’ understanding and comprehension skills! This project will bring much joy and excitement to our classroom, not just this year but for years to come. Please help me in giving our classroom library an upgrade and a facelift with a new seating area. Thank you for all of your support. We truly appreciate it very much!
