My Project
This project is focused mainly on STEM activities for my kindergartners. These activities will help them learn how to build different things their imaginations will allow while using different materials.
This year, students get off the bus and go straight to the classroom for a while before breakfast.
Instead of having them work on morning work, I want them to have something exciting to look forward to. This will be STEM building activities and a tabletop light panel! Students can even learn how to work together to build. This is a huge thing in kindergarten. Most haven’t learned how to play together or get along yet. Also, more are coming in not able to build or use their hands because they are used to playing on iPads. Using their hands will help build fine motor skills that will later help with handwriting.
I will also need some ways to store these activities due to not having much room, so I added some durable mesh zipper baggies and a small cart with wheels.
