Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a Title I school located in South Central Los Angeles. My students are excited to learn and come to school with such wonder and awe about the new things they will learn. My students come from low-income families. Many of my parents do not speak English and struggle to help their child academically. One hundred percent of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price meals. I have a wide range of learners including students with special needs. My students are amazing life-long learners who are excited to come to school every day.
My Project
As we move forward in technological education I would love to have my students join in the movement with the use of Kindle Fire Tablets with protective cases in our kindergarten classroom. My students are working daily on their digital learning having tablets will give my students the knowledge of using technology to foster their education and collaborate in the classroom.
My students crave knowledge, are very creative, they have a passion for learning, and love to discover new adventures.

My students are becoming more and more enthusiastic each day to be able to use technology in the classroom. We are utilizing technology throughout our entire daily learning. Having tablets will give my students more time to research, learn, and collaborate in the classroom. The more technology that they can explore with, the better the outcome.
