Help me give my students a new classroom rug that fits our space.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Kindergarten is such a special time in a child's developmental process. My students are excited and ready to take on this beginning stage of public school! We are from an island community in Washington State with various backgrounds and life experiences.
This new crop of kindergartners has a can-do attitude and zest for life that is brimming at the seams.
We use our classroom space as our second teacher. We use seating that is flexible, play with engineering toys, create beautiful masterpieces, learn how to be kind to each other, and empathy for others, all while soaking up rigorous academic standards.
My kindergartners use the classroom rug space everyday. We sit in our squares for learning, as well as lay down on our bellies for reading and creating together. We come to the carpet for read-alouds, whole-group instruction, using our white boards, reading, during our free-play building block towers, creating Lego structures, stretching and brain-break time.
We need a rug that fits our space and our ever-changing needs in kindergarten.
Our current rug is much too large, getting caught on furniture creating tripping hazards and would be a great donation to another classroom with more bodies. A smaller, more purposeful rug would fit our space and our needs a lot better.
