Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out for your support in transforming our kindergarten classroom into a vibrant, engaging, and nurturing environment that my students will cherish as they begin their educational journey. Right now, our space is quite bare, and I believe that together we can create a warm atmosphere that will ignite a love for learning.

Imagine our new classroom rug becoming the heart of our community, a cozy gathering spot where we share ideas, explore new concepts, and embark on exciting adventures.

Additionally, we need shelves to showcase our special classroom library, encouraging children to discover the joys of reading and the exploration of the world beyond our classroom.

With the addition of STEM supplies, we can empower our young learners to bridge the gap between literacy and science through hands-on experiences. This will not only deepen their understanding of various texts but also cultivate essential communication skills as they engage in reading, writing, and discussing their STEM discoveries and challenges.

As part of a Title I school, our community faces numerous obstacles, and it’s crucial that we create a classroom that feels like a safe haven for my English learners. I want them to thrive, build their confidence, and develop the skills necessary to become lifelong learners. Your support can help make this vision a reality, and together we can provide an unforgettable experience for our students.
