Kindergarteners Taking Charge of their Learning

My Project

Kindergarteners use technology to assist their learning in math, reading, science, and social studies. The majority of the day, Kindergarteners are engaged in Tier 1 instruction with their homeroom teacher. However, there is a portion of the day when the children are placed in small groups called W.I.N otherwise known as What I Need, that is tailored to areas of the curriculum where students need additional help or opportunities to be successful in an area that still might be difficult for them. Some students work on an iPad using a program called iReady that assists them in math and reading instruction.

My request for this project is to purchase an iPad charging station for Kindergarteners to independently access.

It will promote individual accountability and responsibility. It will be easier for the students to obtain and use their devices. Accessing the iPads at this current time uses valuable instruction time and this time cannot be wasted. Thanks for your consideration and help with this request.
