My Project

In the past few years you can see the effect that COVID-19 has had on our children. Students haven’t gone to preschool and their fine motor and other skills have been hindered. We need to find creative ways to make learning fun, but without the correct tools and resources it is very difficult.

I want to implement more small group instruction but to do so I need more chairs/furniture and small group activities for them to use.

My students love hands-on activities, and these tools will be a great start. The requested resources will directly benefit the students when we do small group instruction. Currently the students are sitting on the floor during small group/centers time. The floor work space bundle will give them a chair and desk to do their work on instead of sitting or lying on the ground. The number writing resources will be a math center where students can practice their fine motor skills and practice writing their numbers. The CVC writing will be another center where students again will practice their fine motor skills and have the ability to write and segment CVC words. These centers will give the opportunity to make learning fun and give students a different way to learn instead of just whole group instruction.
