Kindergarteners in Need of Osmo Genius Kits and Bee-Bots!
Help me give my students hands-on STEM learning tools. With 5 Osmo Genius Kits and 3 Bee-Bots, the children will be able to learn concepts of math, language, coding/ programming, and technology while having fun.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every day I have the opportunity to teach 44 bright-eyed, eager kindergarten students. My students attend a full-day dual-immersion program where half of the group is with me in the morning while the other half is in their Spanish-only classroom. After lunch, the classes switch, and I teach the second group. Our school is a magnet school with some students traveling many miles to be a part of this incredible program. Because it is only the second year of the program, we continue to work to gather the needed resources to support our students in both the English and the Spanish instruction they are receiving.
My kindergarten students are inspirational and fun which encourages me to bring my best every day.
They come with various backgrounds, learning styles and personalities that keep me on my toes. With such diverse needs, my priority is to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment for all my students. I feel it is vital to instill a love for learning and school at this young age.
My Project
With just 5 Osmo Genius Kits the children in our dual-immersion kindergarten program will be able to take turns during our centers time to learn concepts of math, language, and technology while also having lots of fun! We are also asking for Bee-Bots to use during our STEM learning centers. With this tool, the children will be introduced to coding and programming.
