This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are about to embark into a new reading and writing program. These books and decodable books will aid my students who come from various backgrounds. Some are English language learners, and English is their second language, and are struggling readers.I have students who have problems sounding out words, difficulty recognizing sounds and the letters that make up those sounds, slow readers, and problems understanding what was just read.

My goal is to help my students reach their reading levels and create a sense of success, increasing their self-esteem and giving them a sense of purpose when they are reading.

My students are unique because they want to learn; these resources will help them reach the next level.
