This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 19 Kindergarteners have been working so hard this school year. They have learned numerous Literacy skills and have practiced successfully in whole group and small group settings. They are ready to show mastery and independence during Center Time.
Learning how to work together, stay on task and independently show mastery of academic content is part of being in Kindergarten.
They are ready to shine at their Writing Center and iPad Listening Center, but we need a few items in order to run the activities in a successful and meaningful way.
The lap desks will provide flexible seating so students can work at the Writing Center on the carpet, or take their writing to a quiet place in the classroom. The headphones and splitter will allow all students to hear the I pad for a Listening Center, where many Literacy skills can be practiced.
