This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will love these word pizza games. They are interactive learning games that are a fun way to develop spelling skills, memory skills, strategic thinking, letter recognition, word building, hand-eye coordination and concentration. The fun pizza building theme will engage in fun reading and spelling learning. My students will develop a sense of achievement after building their own word pizza and receive a Pizza Badge as a reward.

Each player starts with 1 slice, they place the matching alphabet tokens on the slice and say the word aloud to complete the slice, complete 4 slices to complete the pizza and get 1 pizza badge, the first player to collect 2 badges wins!

My students will use the grocery cart to play a grocery store math game. The numbered 1-10 cubes set will help my students learn number recognition, counting and putting numbers in the correct order.
