Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are so eager to learn. Even though this year has been very challenging, my students are giving their best. They have eager faces every morning when they login to class. They love to learn new things and are loving Kindergarten.

My Project

The headphones will allow my kindergarten students to block out all of the background noises to help them focus on learning. Over 50% of my students have siblings learning in the same room as them, we constantly hear the other teachers lessons. These headphones will allow my students the ability to unmute and participate more easily.

The white boards will allow my students the ease of practicing their writing skills with the lined side of the board and to use the blank side of the board for quick answer responses that they can quickly hold up in front of the camera to allow me to assess their understanding of the skills we are working on.

The leveled readers will allow me to give my students their own leveled readers that they can practice reading with at home. It has been very difficult to get books in the students hands in this style of learning environment.
