Kindergarten Sensory Materials To Support The Common Core!
My students need a sand and water table, kinetic sand (moon sand), and an alphabet mold set.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
With a classroom full of new learners, it can be difficult for students to interact with the Common Core curriculum including language arts, math, and science every day. With a sand and water table, a group of students can work as a team while being introduced to our kindergarten standards.
I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in California.
My students have varying backgrounds and abilities including many English language learners, students with special needs, and students with limited preschool experience. Differentiating curriculum can be difficult, so I am hoping to bring in new materials to help enrich our Common Core standards and build a strong base for further education.
To supplement the materials available at my school, I am seeking a sand and water table with kinetic sand (moon sand), as well as various manipulatives and molds. The students in my classroom can explore the properties of sand and water, while learning the basics of our kindergarten Common Core standards and working as a team in a small-group setting.
The donations to this project will improve my classroom by introducing a different way to learn and interact with our kindergarten Common Core standards for language arts, math, and science.
