This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember learning to read? It can be a challenge. Help me make it fun and enjoyable for my students. Kids need to paint, and play. These developmental activities can help young learners develop their literacy skills at the same time. Fun and learning can go together. Help us get there

My students are young and inquisitive.

Most of them did not attend Pre-K. Most are holding pencils, crayons and books for the first time. Our school is populated by lower social-economic families. All of my students are working to learn English as well as working hard to learn to read, write, count, solve problems, and succeed.

My Project

I don't want my students to forget that they're kids! These materials will help them to learn concepts of print and phonics, while having some fun. Help me make their learning experience enjoyable and productive.My students are new to school and learning. I need to inspire and engage them so that they can reach their full potential. The number of state standards that they must master can be daunting. My students can have fun through while enjoying developmentally appropriate activities that promote literacy and creative expression. Five year old students need to learn. They need to succeed. I know that these young scholars will reach all of their learning goals.

Our school budget is being cut.

We've got the basic supplies, and not much else. Please help us out. My students need lots of basics in order to make it through their lives. Making their school lives a bit more fun, and motivational at the same time will only help.
