This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special and unique individuals who love so big. They come to school with the biggest smiles on their face and the most welcoming hugs. They fill our room with so much love and happiness, I want to give them a chance to have new and special materials to help make learning easier and more beneficial for them and put a smile to their face.

We use whiteboards, markers, and erasers everyday to help letter sound recognition as they write their CVC words and during our center times when students are practicing sentence building, writing letters, writing our name and so much more.

At the moment, we don't have enough erasers for all. and our markers are drying out.

Pre Sharpened pencils are a HUGE time saver in the classroom and help to have a more smooth routine throughout the day. We lovingly use our yellow folders, daily, to extend our parent teacher communication. All student work, behavior sheets, and flyers goes home through these and are returned the next day. It would be extremely helpful to have a new class set of these to aide us in our transitions from school to home and to help keep that valuable and important parent teacher communication alive.
