My Students

I have a class of energetic, thoughtful kindergarten students!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds within our small, close knit community.

Our Title I school is situated in a rural town just south of Syracuse, NY.

My students are all different and I know that they love to use their hands! What a great way for my students to socialize while problem solving as well! I can't wait to hear the words, "Hey, Mrs. McClary! Look what we created!"

My Project

"Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn." - Fred Donaldson

The requested STEM materials such as the magnets and dominoes will help to foster classroom communication and problem-solving between groups of students.

My students will use these materials in the morning when they arrive at school. Instead of having a paper and pencil task to complete each morning, my students will be using hands-on materials to build and create.

Kindergarten students love to explore! My students will not only be exploring how to build and create, but they are going to foster new friendships!

As creations are completed, I could share photos with parents!
