Kindergarten Reading Program for Autisic Children

My students need a reading program that would work for them. This includes the teachers kits, individual writing books, books to read, and games and puzzles.

Our school addresses the needs of Kindergarten aged children with Autism in a high needs community in New York. In September of 2009 our doors opened for the first time. The site began with limited funding and maximum needs. Our students have a range of developmental, academic and social limitations.

Since our site as only been open for just over one year now, we are still limited to supplies. We do not have a reading program in place and our children will benefit from a great hands-on reading program.

The students at our school needs a reading program that will help with their reading skills. The Starfall reading curriculum is magical, creative, sequential, integrated, and combines content area instruction in Social Studies and Science, which will enhance our students learning.

With your generosity you can make it possible for my students to enhance their reading and language arts skills. Reading is important in daily living and this reading curriculum can be used to introduce reading to our children with autism.
