Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My incoming kindergarten students will almost likely be a lively group of five year-olds with lots of energy, who are ready to conquer the world. My students usually come to school for the learning, the food, and the materials they need in order to learn.
The pencil boxes will give them a place to store all of the materials they need for their daily learning at school.
These boxes will serve to store their pencils, crayons, dry erase marker, eraser, and scissors. As they enter kindergarten, they will be learning how to be responsible for their materials. The ink will be used to print out a cover for the box, with their names on them along with other learning concepts. The scissors will be used to cut out the label in an artistic manner so that my students will understand how to take care of their nice things. These are my goals for this project.
