This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember your old, heavy, huge computer? Well that's what you'll find in my classroom.

I teach kindergarten in South Central Los Angeles, CA.

We are a 100% Title 1 school, which means all of our students qualify for free meals. Most do not have computers and those who do have a computer do not have Internet access at home. My kindergarten students are eager to use technology in our classroom.

My Project

A laptop computer is a tool that students can use everyday in the classroom. They will have access to learning websites, that will help them develop their reading and math skills. With a laptop computer in the class I will be able to enhance math lessons by providing students with the visual technology aspects that our math program offers.

Your donation will provide my students with access to technology and programs they do not have at home.

I will be able to improve my teaching by making my lessons more interactive and fun!
