This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items above are needed and will be used during Kindergarten Math time. The tabletop Whiteboards will support and engage my Kindergarten students as they work together in groups to draw, write, and show their Mathematical thinking. By using whiteboards and dry-erase markers, my goal is to spark student interest with in-depth thinking in groups on numbers, counting, sorting, addition, and subtraction.

During math, I want to build a better “thinking classroom” and have students think for more extended periods, within the context of the curriculum, which leads to longer and deeper learning.
